Balos
The famous lagoon of Balos is located on the Gramvousa peninsula, at the northwestern tip of Crete and is characterized by shallow water and white sand, which in places is pink due to crushed shells and corals.

Gramvousa
Gramvousa refers to two small uninhabited islands off the coast of a peninsula . The Gramvousa Peninsula forms the western most of the two pairs of peninsulae in north-western Crete (the other being Rodopos Peninsula) and is the western part of Kissamos Bay.

Afrata
Afrata is a village and seat of the homonymous community of the municipality of Platanias in the peripheral unit of Chania, Crete. It is located on the cape of Rodopi, in an area with olive groves. It is 3.5 km from Kolymvari and 28 km from the city of Chania.

Agios Sozon
The beach got its name from a nearby chapel, Agios Sozon (Sostis) on the cape of Gramvousa. A little further it is said that there are remains of the ancient sanctuary of Apollo.

Ravdouha
The beach in Ravdouha is located near the homonymous village of Ravdouha on the Rodopi peninsula. The landscape of the surrounding area is full of green steep slopes. The village is built in a panoramic position with a unique view of the whole bay of Kissamos.h

Menies
At the northeastern end of the Rhodope Peninsula you will find Menies beach. It is a secluded beach with fine pebbles and crystal clear waters. To the right and left of the beach there are some ruins of ancient buildings. The route is about 25 km outside the village of Rodopou.
